Senator Lito Lapid who attended the resumption of senate session on Tuesday underwent rapid testing to ensure he is physically well and coronavirus disease (COVID-19) free.
Lapid and other senators are back in the Senate plenary today to discuss Resolution 374 which seeks to amend Senate rules and allow teleconferencing in the conduct of Senate committee hearings and plenary sessions.
Earlier, Senator Vicente Sotto III confirmed that 12 out of 500 rapid tests turned out COVID-19 positive and were brought to the hospital for swab test and quarantine.
Senator Lapid’s chief of staff, Atty. Filmer Abrajano also tested negative for COVID-19.
