CL Police pay homage to frontliners via 50km inspection run

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 paid homage Wednesday to frontliners while urging residents to stay home to avoid the spread of coronavirus disease.

Police Regional Director PBGen. Rhodel Sermonia led the 50km Inspection Run of all Control/Checkpoints along the stretch of Valenzuela-Meycauayan boundary, McArthur Highway to Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Sermonia inspected the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) checkpoints and reminded his personnel to keep on implementing the guidelines strictly.

“Aside from appealing to our public to stay at home, this is also one way of challenging them to become physically fit amidst this pandemic because during these trying times, our health is our only wealth,” Sermonia added.

ECQ has been extended until May 15 in the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales.

Moreover, the province of Aurora has been placed under a General Community Quarantine since May 1.
