MANILA – Warm and humid weather will continue to prevail over the whole archipelago on Friday, as the Ridge of High Pressure Area is extending over northern Luzon, and the easterlies affect the rest of the country, a weather specialist said.
Ariel Rojas of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Luzon, especially northern and central parts, will experience thunderstorms either in the afternoon or evening.
The same weather condition will prevail over the Visayas, while stronger thunderstorms may likely be experienced over Mindanao.
“Expect rains during thunderstorms,” he said.
Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas will prevail over the whole country.Rojas said PAGASA does not see any weather disturbance that may develop or affect the country in the next three to five days. (PNA)
