CLARK FREEPORT ZONE —- All the 113 employees of the Clark International Airport Corp. tested negative in the Anti-Bodies Rapid Test conducted on June 4 at the CIAC Corporate Building.
Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center or Ospital ning Angeles Officer in charge Dr. Froilan Canlas said the tests of the blood samples taken from CIAC employees on Thursday all yielded negative results.
The testing was done thru the assistance of the Angeles City Government.
CIAC President Aaron Aquino was not tested since he is still in Davao City. He will be tested upon his arrival next week.
“The result was actually a sigh of relief to everybody. President and CEO Aquino will continue to educate our employees on proper health safety protocols against COVID 19,” IC Calaguas, incoming VP for Operations and concurrent Senior Executive Assistant of Aquino, said.
Calaguas added that the “good news confirms CIAC is ready to resume operations with a skeletal staff.”
The rapid test was initially scheduled for July but Aquino ordered it to be conducted earlier so work can resume at the agency to serve locators and other stakeholders.
