Health Office holds stress debriefing for CSF frontliners

To help the city’s frontliners process events and cope up during the coronavirus disease 2019 situation, the City Health Office, in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross Pampanga-Angeles City Chapter, conducted a stress debriefing seminar on June 23 at the Amphitheatre, Heroes Hall.

The two-day seminar was attended by about 71 frontliners who were identified as “vulnerable employees” based on their score on stress questionnaires administered by the CHO last April using the Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale (DASS-21) and Revised Impact of Events Scale.

The CHO is also planning to have a whole year-round psychosocial support for the frontliners to help them identify their stressors and eventually give them points and advises on how to manage them.
