Two Chinese nationals who were tagged behind the slaying of a Chinese businessman were arrested on Friday, August 14.
PCol. Joyce Patrick B. Sangalang, Angeles City Police Director, identified the two Chinese nationals as Huang Zhijie alias “Jayson”, 23 years old and presently residing at 18-32A1 Red Wood Subdivision, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga and Yang Lulin alias “Aki”, 31 years old, businessman and presently staying at Aston Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
Sangalang said the two Chinese nationals were arrested on Friday at 01 Caviuna St., Rosewood Subdivision, Fil-Am Friendship Highway, Brgy Cutcut, Angeles City.
The two were tagged behind the brutal killing of Chinese businessman Feng Lifu, 30 years old, and temporarily residing at Villa No. 3136 Fontana Resort, Clark Freeport Zone, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Reponding policemen found Feng Lifu inside a burned Toyota Fortuner SUV. The victim reportedly rented the said vehicle.
The victim was last contacted by his girlfriend identified as Tang Na, 32 years old, on August 10, 2020 at around 7pm. Tang Na is temporarily staying at P-3 D Heights, Clark Freeport Zone,
Another Chinese woman identified as Yang Wenyan, 18 years old, POGO worker and temporarily staying at Sun Valley, Clark Freeport Zone, also presented herself as girlfriend of the victim. Wenyan narrated that sometimes on August 10, 2020 at around 9:05pm, she checked the money transferred in the name of a certain Gao Xiangyang in the amount of 62,800.00RMD.
Thru the accounts of the two Chinese women, authorities were able to conduct backtracking investigation through the installed CCTV within Angeles City which led to the arrest of Huang Zhijie and Yang Lulin in Binan, Laguna. One of the girlfriends identified Huang Zhijie as the person captured in the CCTV walking away from the crime scene.
In his affidavit, Zhielie positively identified the burned cadaver as that of Feng Lifu and pointed to the one responsible for the killing as Lulin. Zhielie narrated the circumstances surrounding the brutal killing of Feng Lifu.
The two Chinese nationals are currently in the custody of Police Station 5, Angeles City Police Office, while charges of ‘Robbery with Homicide’ and ‘Arson’ are being readied against them at the City Prosecutors Office.
