PNP launches ‘Pulis Makatao, Malasakit’ Centers

CAMP CRAME- To provide more support and care to PNP personnel and their dependents, a nationwide simultaneous launching of ‘Pulis Makatao, Malasakit’ Centers was held on November 4, 2020.

PNP Chief Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan together with the PNP Command Group led the launching ceremony at the National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City while Police Regional Offices held their own launching ceremonies via video conference.

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go was the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the event. In his message delivered via video conference, Senator Go recognized the sacrifice and service of the police force as one of the frontliners during the pandemic, and the vital role of the PNP in keeping the peace and security in the country.

The PNP, through the Directorate for Police Community Relations under the leadership of Police Brigadier General Rhodel Sermonia, launched the ‘Pulis Makatao, Malasakit’ Center in line with the PNP Chief’s 9 Strategic Thrusts in uplifting the morale and welfare of the PNP personnel and facility development.

It was established to serve as a one-stop shop for the PNP Uniformed and Non-Uniformed Personnel and their dependents who seek assistance on medical services, education, housing, livelihood, retirement claims and other social concerns.
