Mayor Lazatin, COVID tracing czar turn over shirts for contact tracers

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. and Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office Chief Rudy Simeon gave 800 t-shirts to the representatives of Department of Interior and Local Government-Angeles City on Wednesday morning. 

The said t-shirts will be used as the official uniforms of the city’s 200 hired digital contact tracers, funded by the ACDRRMO. 

The DILG-Angeles City, through the city government, hired the contact tracers to intensify the efforts being done by the national government to find, isolate, and cure all possible COVID-19 positive in the country.

The said initiative also aims to provide a viable income for Angeleños, especially those who lost their jobs during the pandemic.After completing their orientation and required swab tests, the hired contact tracers will then be deployed in their respective assignments. (Photo by Kim Tayag AC-CIO)
