CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Central Luzon cops are now improving their shooting capabilities thru marksmanship tests and trainings.
Police Regional Director PBGen. Valeriano De Leon said this move is in line with the directives of Police Chief PGen. Camilo Cascolan which is to enhance the policemen’s shooting skills in order to fulfill their mandate of serving and protecting the public.
“PGen. Cascolan wants police officers especially those doing field work to be more responsible and proficient in using firearms as it has been noted that the primordial duty of the police is to protect lives and properties,” De Leon said.
“Precision and Accuracy are not constant abilities. We can never stay sharp and quick if we stop honing our skills. As members of the Philippine National Police, we are duty-bound to serve and protect the people, we need to be sharp and precise all the time,” he added
