Sunday Market’ launched in Clark

CLARK FREEPORT – To help revitalize tourism and support small businesses to recover from the effects of the pandemic, a bazaar dubbed as ‘Sunday Market’ was recently launched in this Freeport.

Organized by the Greater Clark Visitors Bureau (GCVB), the Sunday Market, located at the El Kabayo Riding Stables features various home-grown products from 22 local merchants and entrepreneurs.

Some of the concessionaires that you may check out at the bazaar are Alvin Fried Ducks and Barbeque, Anna’s Greens and Crafts, Atin Keni Online Store, Batis Asul, Bini Café, Charisma Farms, Confectionery, Consuelo P. Velasco Seafoods, DonDon Tei, Emilia’s Cusina Artisano, Holy Bee Trading, and Y Square Tours and Travels.

Also available in the Sunday Market are goodies from Lola Nor’s Meryendahan, Mama Shine Flavors of Siam, Mountain Clark, Patchi’s Tamales, Rosita’s-Chef Don Frozen Goods, Smoke and Spices Grill, Sobremesa Food Services, Taste of North, The Chaffing Dish, and W&J Food Co.

By dropping by at the bazaar, guests may indulge on fresh organic fruits and produce, as well as processed meat products. They can also explore ideal holiday gifts and items such as pots and seedlings, crafts and trinkets, among others.

While this initiative aims to promote local tourism, minimum health standards and protocols were also put in place to ensure the safety of all guests and stakeholders. Visitors at the marketplace will be required to wear face masks while those ages 15 years old and above are allowed to enter. The Sunday Market is open every Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Guests and tourist can also look forward to the presentations at the annual Horse Fest events and activities which is set on November 21, 2020, Saturday at the El Kabayo Riding Stables.
