CANDABA, Pampanga — Candaba Vice Mayor Michael Sagum appeals to his constituents to strictly follow the prescribe health protocols to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
As of 3:00PM today, the municipality recorded a total of 58 confirmed cases. From the figure, 13 are active cases, 41 have recovered and 4 died.
“From time to time, we want to remind them to obey the protocols under the new normal such as wearing of face mask and face shield, frequent handwashing and observance of physical distancing. We are fighting an enemy we cannot see, so we cannot avoid it. We still don’t have any vaccine,” he stressed.
He shared that observing these resulted to Mayor Rene Maglanque recovering from the disease.
“Our Mayor himself was once diagnosed to be COVID-19 positive. We were not infected and he recovered because we followed the protocols,” he said. –-Jag Lyra D. Costamero
