Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Umabot na sa 102 ang bilang ng mga tinamaan ng Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) na pawang mga tauhan ng Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) regionwide.
Ayon kay PRO3 Regional Director PBGen Valeriano De Leon, ang mga nasabing PRO3 personnel ay nagpositibo sa naturang virus at agad na inilipat sa mga quarantine facilities at kasalukuyang isinasailalim sa strict quarantine and monitoring.
Nagsasagawa na rin sila ng precautionary measures kaugnay ng biglang pagtaas ng Covid-19 cases kung saan nililimitahan lamang ang mga papasok na bisita sa Camp Olivas para sa kanilang official business at prohibisyon sa personal visit.
Hindi rin pinahihintulutan sa kampo ang gatherings at mga events ngunit patuloy naman ang isinasagawang seminars, conferences sa pamamagitan ng virtual platform.
“While we are still waiting for the vaccines, I constantly remind our personnel especially those manning the checkpoints and are more exposed to the virus to take extra measures to protect themselves because with this invisible enemy nobody can protect us except ourselves. If they feel that they have symptoms or have close contact with an infected person, they must immediately submit themselves for testing,” ayon kay De Leon.
