CLARK FREEPORT— The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) was once again recognized as the most outstanding Philippine Air Force (PAF) Affiliated Group Reserve for the year 2021.
During the commemoration of the 74th PAF anniversary held inside this Freeport, PAF Commanding General Allen T. Paredes presented the said award to CDC Assistant Vice President for Business Enhancement Atty. Noelle Mina Meneses.
Meneses, who holds the rank of a major, serves as the group commander of the CDC reservist group, which is also known as 2320th PAF Affiliated Group Reserve.
The awarding ceremony was preceded by a simultaneous flag raising activity attended by other PAF members and officials.
In 2020, CDC was also named as the PAF Affiliated Reserve Unit of the year. This is the secondtime that the state-owned firm was granted such award.
PAF cited CDC’s efforts and support to various activities and initiatives that contribute to nation building.
The state-owned firm was recognized for reaching out to the families and communities severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The CDC reservist group also actively participated in distributing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to front liners, handing out donations, and providing education and training programs for Indigenous People (IP) communities.
More than 200 CDC employees have already undergone and completed Military Orientation Training (MOT) administered by PAF.
