CAMP OLIVAS — Two robbery hold-up suspects were arrested on Wednesday a few hours after they forcibly took the belongings of their victim in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
In a report to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon, Pampanga provincial commander Col. Arnold Ibay identified the suspects as driver Bryan Dingal, 42, of Sitio Tramo, Bgy. Bical, Mabalacat City; and Emmanuel Natividad, 59, of Bgy. Telapayong, Arayat, Pampanga.
Ibay said they were arrested by joint personnel of Pampanga police, SWAT Pampanga, and Mabalacat City police in Bgy. Bical, Mabalacat City during a hot pursuit operation after they robbed Herbert Marinao, 49, quarry caretaker and residence of San Pablo 2nd Lubao, Pampanga, who was standing on the road in Bgy. Camachiles near Alfamart Convenience Store waiting for his friend around 4:30 pm on Wednesday.
Seized from the two were one plateless motorcycle, a loaded .9mm pistol, one hand grenade, a gray sling bag, and a wallet with P2,035.
Mabalacat City police OIC Lt. Col. Soledad Elefanio said the two suspects were reportedly the leader and member of a crime group involved in a series of robbery incidents in the city.
Elefanio added that Dingal was previously arrested in 2004 for robbery and served a sentence in 2009 while another robbery case was filed against him in 2015 but was dismissed due to lack of evidence.
Natividad was arrested in 2018 for drugs and a robbery case. Both cases were dismissed in 2019.
“As we continue to intensify our aggressive anti-criminality campaign especially on motorcycle riding criminals anchored on the Intensified Cleanliness Policy of PNP chief Ge,. Guillermo Eleazar, we keep on conducting more operations in the coming days to put a stop if not prevent nefarious activities of these lawless elements,” De Leon said.
