CAMP OLIVAS — PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon said at least 1,135 individuals were arrested and less than P400k worth of illegal drugs were confiscated during the two-day region-wide campaign against wanted persons and illegal drugs.
Of the 1,135 arrested individuals, 62 have standing warrants of arrest; 61 were nabbed for illegal drugs; 81 for illegal gambling; two for carnapping and two for Illegal logging. Meanwhile, 58.5 grams of shabu worth P398,404.00: 9.23 grams of marijuana; 11 assorted firearms and P17,160.00 cash bets were confiscated.
“We will continue to triple, if not double our efforts to arrest all wanted criminals and put them behind bars and fight all kinds of illegal drugs and activities in Central Luzon to attain a safer place to live, work and do business,” De Leon said.
