TALAVERA, Nueva Ecija — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed the 1.438-kilometer off-carriageway improvement project along Daang Maharlika in Talavera, Nueva Ecija.
It was implemented by DPWH Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office.
OIC-District Engineer Osias Santos said the P15.3-million infrastructure will contribute to maintaining smooth traffic flow in the area.
This stretch of Daang Maharlika connects the public market, shopping centers, government agencies, and other frequently visited establishments, serving a large number of people.
“Delivering a seamless travel experience for the motoring public through this area will undoubtedly yield numerous economic and societal advantages,” Santos added.
The project was funded under the 2023 General Appropriations Act.
