Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag has welcomed former Commission on Elections Commissioner and now P3PWD Party List Representative Atty. Rowena Guanzon during the latter’s visit to the City of San Fernando on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Heroes Hall.
Atty. Guanzon served as the resource speaker for the City Gender and Development’s Advocacy Program, where she spoke with the leaders of
women’s groups and the sector of persons with disabilities, giving
insights on their rights and privileges.
Atty. Guanzon thanked Mayor Caluag for the warm welcome and lauded the City’s programs under her administration, especially those that empower the vulnerable sectors of society.
Caluag’s stepping up amidst the current issues that San Fernando faces was also praised by the Party List representative.
Meanwhile, Caluag also extended her gratitude to Atty. Guanzon for her service to the Filipinos and for using her expertise and experience to teach and inform the Fernandinos in the said advocacy program of GAD.
