CDC, PTV ink partnership to boost Clark’s development

CLARK FREEPORT — In line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s whole-of-government approach, Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and People’s Television Network, Inc. (PTNI) officially sealed a broadcast contract to promote Clark’s development efforts.

The contract specifies that CDC will secure a dedicated 10-minute segment on PTNI’s flagship program, “Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon.” This segment will air within the multi-agency forum, broadcasting from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the CDC’s exclusive segment scheduled for Thursdays.

Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, President and CEO of CDC, and Analisa Puod, General Manager of PTNI, served as signatories to the contract.  CDC Director Nicolette Henson will co-host alongside Niña Corpuz on the said program.

At the ceremony, Atty. Devanadera stressed the importance of showcasing the government’s efforts amid the information overload.

“This is the essence of the ceremonial signing, to broadcast good news because it seems we lack positive news. In other words, let’s stay optimistic,” Atty. Devanadera said.

“But we have many things to be proud of, we have many things to be happy about and we have many things to celebrate today. The ceremonial signing marks the start of a big celebration. So that our people will know what the government, the private sector, and the partnership can do so that we can uplift the lives of our people. Thank you very much,” she added.

After sealing the broadcast contract, a ceremonial press of the playback button on the smart board marked the viewing of CDC’s segment on “Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon,” featuring the New Deco Central showroom in Clark.

For her part, Puod expressed gratitude to the CDC for providing PTV with the opportunity to showcase Clark’s programs and developments nationwide. She underscored the significance of utilizing PTV’s platform to highlight Clark’s contributions to national growth.

With a substantial media presence boasting 5.4 million Facebook followers, 170.7k TikTok followers, and 1.9 million YouTube subscribers, PTV ensures widespread coverage. Its nationwide broadcast reach, spanning 54,112,067 households through 15 network transmitters, amplifies the CDC’s message’s reach.

Also present during the event were Jose Miguel de la Rosa, CDC vice president for administration and finance; Philip Repato, president of the Philippine Exporters Foundation, Region III; and Paolo Feliciano, president of Pampanga Furniture Industries Foundation, Inc.
