Subic EnerZone Corporation joined on Biay Dagat 2024

Subic Bay Freeport Zone – The Subic EnerZone Corporation, together with volunteers from Power System Electric Cooperative (PSECO) and Carmel Lights Manpower and Allied Services (CLMAS), participated in the Biay Dagat 2024 Coastal Clean-Up held today at the Triboa Mangrove Site.

A total of 25 volunteers combined their efforts, collecting 148 kilograms (equivalent to 16 sacks!) of trash. Some of the waste collected included cigarette butts, food wrappers, plastic bags, bottles, fishing gear, construction materials, and more.

SBMA Ecology Center led the event with some various companies in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone joining forces to clean up designated areas like in Malawaan Park, San Bernardino Road, Waterfront Road, and Triboa Bay.

A total of 976 individuals composed of 33 SBMA departments, 69 SBMA locators, 3 schools and 17 different organizations participated the event to protect and preserve the environment.
