The SM Foundation, in collaboration with SM Supermalls, successfully conducted a Blood Donation Campaign at the SM Pampanga Mall Training Room on October 7-8, 2024.
This initiative was carried out in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Pampanga-Angeles chapter and supported by the Rotary Club of Dolores.
Throughout the two-day event, 57 individuals generously donated blood, reflecting a strong community commitment to supporting patients in need.
The blood collected will benefit individuals suffering from various conditions, including bleeding disorders, blood-related diseases, patients undergoing dialysis and chemotherapy, as well as those affected by dengue fever and anemia.
“This campaign aims not only to address the critical demand for blood in medical facilities but also to raise awareness about the vital role of voluntary blood donation in saving lives,” said Maureen Gueco, president of the Rotary Club of Dolores.
“We extend our gratitude to all the donors and partners who contributed to the success of this event and encourage everyone to participate in future blood donation drives. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need,” Gueco said.
