Over 600 members of various Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) in the city received cash aid on October 23, 2024, after participating in the TUPAD (Employment Assistance for Displaced/Disadvantaged Workers) program.

Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag led the program and personally thanked the TODA members for their daily service to the transport sector. She also expressed support for government short-term employment programs like TUPAD, which provide temporary job opportunities for displaced and disadvantaged workers.

Joining the event were City Public Employment Services Office Acting Manager Mary Ann Biliwang and employees from the Department of Labor and Employment, who supported the city’s initiative.
