Mike Tapang pushes for clean governance

PORAC, PAMPANGA – Residents of Barangay Planas warmly welcomed Mike Tapang and Vincent Lusung on Tuesday, January 28, as they continued their municipal tour promoting their advocacy for transparent and accountable governance.

The visit is part of their ongoing efforts to reach out to communities across Porac, engaging with residents and local leaders. Barangay Captain Alfer Nacu, a candidate under the Tapang-Lusung team for the upcoming May elections, led the welcoming of the group.

During their visit, Tapang and Lusung conducted house-to-house engagements and held a barangay consultation or caucus, where residents shared their concerns and priorities for local governance. The consultation aimed to bridge the gap between community needs and government action.

“Our goal is to ensure that every Poraqueño’s voice is heard and that governance remains clean, transparent, and truly for the people,” Tapang said.

The team plans to visit all 29 barangays in Porac, continuing their dialogue with residents and providing assistance to those in need. As election season heats up, their grassroots approach seeks to build stronger connections with the people and emphasize their commitment to good governance.
