Sakahon CEO Elaine Timbol has been invited to speak at the launch of DigitalPilipinas, a United Nations-led project aimed at advancing digital transformation in the Philippines.
Timbol, known for her extensive leadership in rural financing, agricultural enterprises, and youth development, will represent the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) and agriculture sectors. She is expected to highlight challenges and opportunities for farmers and small business owners in the digital economy.
Joining her on the panel are senior officials from the United Nations, the European Chamber of Commerce, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce, and a farmer leader.
