Pampanga police seize ₱12M drugs, arrest 150

PAMPANGA, Philippines – Authorities in Pampanga seized over ₱12 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 150 individuals in a series of operations throughout January 2025, marking a strong start to the year in the province’s anti-drug campaign.

The Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO) conducted 109 operations, confiscating 1,773.7 grams of shabu valued at ₱12,061,228 and 717.89 grams of marijuana worth ₱86,146.80. The arrests and drug seizures highlight the intensified crackdown on illegal drug activities in the region.

Provincial Director PCOL Jay C. Dimaandal lauded his team’s efforts, emphasizing their commitment to keeping communities safe. “Every arrest and seizure weakens the drug trade and protects our people, especially the youth, from its harmful effects,” he said.

He described the operations as a victory not just for law enforcement but for Pampanga’s communities, reaffirming their goal to eliminate illegal drugs and bring peace to neighborhoods.

The Pampanga PPO vowed to sustain its anti-drug efforts in line with the government’s broader campaign against illegal narcotics, urging the public to support their mission for a safer province.
