ANGELES CITY, Philippines – Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel on Monday, March 17, inspected the city’s first-ever wastewater treatment facility, fully funded by the local government, at Pampang Public Market.
The facility is designed to convert wastewater into clean, reusable water, reducing pollution and conserving water resources. By eliminating contaminants, the system aims to curb waterborne diseases and lower the risk of environmental hazards.

City officials said the project is an innovative step toward sustainable water management, helping reduce water consumption costs while promoting eco-friendly practices.
Joining the inspection were Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer Irish Bonus-Llego, Tourism Officer Anneleen Sugui, and General Services Officer Evangeline Malonzo.
