Subic Bay Freeport –Aboitiz Power Distribution Group’s EnerZones received a prestigious plaque of appreciation from the Department of Education (DepEd).
The recognition was bestowed upon EnerZones, comprising Subic, Mactan, Balamban, and Lima, in grateful acknowledgment of their steadfast partnership with the DepEd through the External Partnerships Service (EPS).
This partnership has been marked by unwavering commitment, exceptional collaboration, and invaluable contributions in support of the MATATAG Agenda for DepEd Basic Education Development Plan, thereby aiding DepEd in fulfilling its mandate of providing quality basic education to all learners.
The esteemed award was presented by none other than the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, and the Secretary of Education, Honorable Sara Z. Duterte, underscoring the significance of EnerZones’ contributions to the educational landscape of the nation.
Accepting the award on behalf of EnerZones were Engr. Dante Pollescas, President and COO of EnerZones, along with Mr. Anton Mari Perdices, SVP and COO of Aboitiz Power Distribution, Engr. Richard Bulaon, Lima EnerZone Operations Head, and Mr. Jeff Figuerrez, EnerZones Supervisor for Reputation Enhancement.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time EnerZones has been recognized for their exemplary partnership with DepEd.
In 2023, EnerZones (Subic, Mactan, Balamban, and Lima) were also recipients of the same appreciation, with the Vice President and DepEd Secretary Sarah Duterte presenting the accolade.
