Morong, Bataan – AboitizPower subsidiary GNPower Dinginin (GNPD) has extends their support for the Sagip Pawikan program in Sitio Fuerte Hatchery for another five years.
This was announced by GNDP Reputation and Stakeholder Management Department Manager Joseph Paolo Mendoza during the ceremonial released of 192 turtle hastling on Friday February 21 at sitio Fuerte, Barangay Poblacion, Morong, Bataan.
Also present during the ceremony are Bataan 3rd District Representative Hon. Angela Garcia, Mayor Cynthia G. Linao-Estanislao, and Vice Mayor Leila Linao-Muñoz together with Tubo-tubo Fisherfolks Association, Samahan ng mga Mangingisda ng San Rafael Anak Dagat, Upland Farmers Producer Association, Inc. SAGIP Pawikan , AboitizPower , PG-ENRO.
Sagip Pawikan Hatchery had already released a total of 20,977 baby turtles to the ocean from the said hatchery since September of last year.
