ABS-CBN was once again recognized for its good corporate governance as it received another ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Award from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
This is the fifth time that ABS-CBN was honored alongside other top Philippine publicly listed companies and insurance companies for being compliant with government regulations based on the 2023 ACGS and Corporate Governance Scorecard (CGS) assessment results.
ICD presents the award to companies who have achieved a score of at least 80 points in the ACGS Assessment, which is composed of 184 questions based on publicly available disclosures on companies’ websites. According to ICD, “it aims to raise the corporate governance standards and practices of the country and to make well-governed Philippine publicly listed companies and insurance companies attractive to investors.”
The ICD is a non-stock, non-profit organization dedicated to the professionalization of Philippine corporate directorship.

ABS-CBN, PINARANGALAN NG GOLDEN ARROW AWARD PARA SA MAAYOS NA PAMAMALAKAD
Muling kinilala ang ABS-CBN ng Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) para sa maayos na pagpapatakbo nito sa kumpanya matapos gawaran ng ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow Award noong Huwebes (Setyembre 19).
Ito ang pang-limang taon na pinarangalan ang ABS-CBN para sa magandang pamamalakad nito at pagsunod sa mga regulasyon ng gobyerno batay sa 2023 ACGS and Corporate Governance Scorecard (CGS) assessment results. Kabilang ang ABS-CBN sa mga Philippine publicly listed at insurance companies na binigyang parangal ng ICD.
Ayon sa ICD, layunin ng ACGS na itaas ang ang antas at mas gumanda pa ang pamamalakad ng mga publicly-listed companies at mas maraming investors pa ang ma-enganyong pumasok sa bansa.
Ang ICD ay isang non-stock at non-profit na organisasyon na hangad ang professionalization ng Philippine corporate directorship.
