Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting launched the “Kabuhayan Power” livelihood program on August 22 at the Gabaldon Building in Pulungbulu, in partnership with Giada’s Meat Products.
The program provides local residents with essential resources to start small-scale food businesses, aiming to boost economic growth and reduce unemployment. Participants from 33 barangays received meat product packages.
Vega-Cabigting highlighted the program’s role in fostering self-reliance and economic resilience. Giada’s CEO Chie Lozano emphasized the partnership’s goal of creating sustainable livelihoods.
The initiative promises to spark more community-driven projects in Angeles City.
