The Angeles City Cooperative Development Council (ACCDC) has donated a wash area that will be used by the more than 970 students of the Abelardo G. Tinio Elementary School in Barangay Capaya II, Angeles City.
The ACCDC will also donate assorted books for students of BLISS Elementary School in Barangay Ninoy Aquino on October 18, 2021.
Dr. Carmela S. Dizon, ACCDC head, said the council comprising various cooperatives in Angeles City and the Clark Freeport Zone, has partnered with the Angeles City Engineer’s Office for the construction of the wash area at the Abelardo G. Tinio Elementary School.
The wash area which has nine faucets will allow elementary students to practice hand washing when they return to face-to-face classes in the future, according to Dizon. At least P188,600 was spent on the construction of the wash area, which will be handed over to the school’s administration on October 15, 2021.
The Abelardo G. Tinio Elementary School has around 979 pupils and 31 teachers.
Dizon also said the ACCDC will also hand over P125,000 worth of assorted books to the BLISS Elementary School on October 18, 2021. She said member-cooperatives of the ACCDC seeks to be of service to the city.
The ACCDO, which serves as secretariat of the ACCDC, has coordinated initial planning and implementation of both projects.
