CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Best practices, operational and administrative excellence are just among the criteria in the selection for the ‘Best City Police’ office where Angeles City is one of the three finalists.
The two other city police offices that made it to the finals include Santiago City and Zamboanga City Police Office, iorbitnews.com gathered.
Police Lt.Colonel Fe Grenas, chief of the Regional Public Information Office, said a validating team from the PNP National Headquarters in Camp Crame, led by Police Brig, General Alex Sintin, chief of the Directorate for Information Communication Technology, visited Camp Tomas Pepito, where they conducted an actual audit of personnel, firearms and other equipment of the city police.
“I believe the ACPO had satisfactorily presented what the inspecting team wanted to hear from them and hoping to make it to the national awards,” said Grenas over the phone, adding that ACPO’s big accomplishments being the regional winner of last year best police office and best senior police officer will give merit.
The awarding rites would be held sometime in August this year in time for the 29th PNP Recognition Day celebration at Camp Crame.
“I’m thankful that ACPO was included as finalist in the national award in the forthcoming PNP Recognition Day. I’m giving this credit to the men and women of ACPO who have shown untiring support to my leadership,” said Police Colonel Narvin Mangune, director of the ACPO stationed at Camp Tomas Pepito.
The official results of the winner, Grenas said will be announced through official message before the PNP Recognition Day event.
