ANGELES CITY – Angeles City posted a P2,311,760 traffic fine collection in the first three months of the administration of Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr.
Driven by the Angeles City Traffic Development Office, 3,431 licenses were confiscated due to traffic violations, impounded and towed motor vehicles.
Mayor Lazatin reminded the public to be disciplined and abide by the policies of the City, since the number of violators from July to September has increased.
The Mayor also thanked the ACTDO personnel, led by Marko Bañola, for manning the traffic of the City rain or shine, to assure that all is well on the roads.
The biggest contribution to the collection is from the total fines of traffic violations amounting to P2,093,560; P192,500 from fines collected from impounded motor vehicles; and P25,700 from towed motor vehicles.
