Mariveles, Bataan – The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) Board of Directors, together with AFAB Administrator and CEO Hussein P. Pangandaman, successfully conducted a benchmarking visit on 16-18 October 2025 at DEEP C Industrial Zones in Haiphong, Vietnam. The activity aimed to assess international best practices in industrial park management, sustainability, and investment facilitation to guide AFAB’s continued development.
DEEP C Industrial Zones, a European-managed park in the Red River Delta, offers integrated services including land leasing, utilities, licensing, and legal assistance. It features reliable power infrastructure, strong logistics links, and sustainability operations utilizing renewable energy and ISO-certified wastewater treatment. Insights gained from the visit will significantly support AFAB’s efforts to enhance the competitiveness of its operations and attract more investments.
