
Mariveles, Bataan – The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), through the exemplary efforts of its Human Resource Division, has been honored by the Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. III for its outstanding implementation of the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM). In celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), AFAB was awarded the Bronze Level under the PRIME-HRM program.

Achieving the Maturity Level II – Bronze Award marks a significant milestone for AFAB, underscoring its strong commitment to establishing efficient, transparent, and merit-based human resource systems. This recognition affirms the agency’s continuous dedication to enhancing key HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, learning and development, and rewards and recognition.
