ANGELES CITY – Association of Government Employees for a New Dynamic Angeles City (AGENDA) President Flordeliza Santos expressed her utmost gratitude to Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. for providing free flu vaccines to 4,744 city hall employees.
“Muli po, isa na naman pagpapatunay sa natatanging pagmamahal ni Mayor Lazatin sa ating mga kawani and pagbibigay ng libreng flu vaccine. Ito po ay very timely dahil sa pagbabago ng klima at panahon ay marami ang nagkakasakit. Sa libring flu vaccine, we can be assured that our employees are protected and healthy,” Santos said.
Some 4,744 city hall employees here received free anti-flu vaccines from the city government under the leadership of Mayor Lazatin.
“Kaya muli po, maraming salamat Mayor Lazatin sa patuloy na pag aalaga at paniniguro sa aming kalusugan. Asahan po ninyo, bilang ganti, ang aming patuloy na pagbibigay ng dekalidad na serbisyo para sa mga Angeleños gaya po ng inyong pagpapahalaga sa amin,” Santos added.
Mayor Lazatin aimed to protect the city hall employees from potential diseases of the respiratory system.
“This is part of our promise that we will continue to put top priority on the health of our workers since they are vital in providing the services needed by our constituents,” Mayor Lazatin said.
With the dedication of the city hall employees, Mayor Lazatin wants to maintain their health and wellness.
“Sinusuklian lang natin ang dedikasyon at sipag ng ating mga kawani ng gobyerno kaya nararapat lamang na bigyang halaga ang kanilang kalusugan,” Mayor Lazatin added.
Lazatin underscored that it is also a proactive approach to ensure the lower risk of getting the flu.
Mayor Lazatin deployed the Ronda Bakuna Bus, which was manned by members of the Angeles City Health Office, to fast-track the said inoculation.
Back in 2022, with the initiative of Mayor Lazatin, city hall employees underwent Annual Physical Examination (APE) and medical history checking including blood pressure check-up, chest X-ray, urinalysis, electrocardiogram test and blood test.
