SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Air Education, Training, and Doctrine Command (AETDC) enjoined the Naval Education and Training Command and the Army Training and Doctrine Command to partake in cross-training of instructors.
AETDC Commander Major General Galileo Gerard Kintanar emphasized that this is one way for the three services to strengthen the education pillars.
“It is one of our many endeavors to subject matter exchanges on things we do well as a service,” Kintanar shared.
Earlier, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) sent two instructors to the Army, who, in exchange, sent two of their instructors to PAF.
“Sending our instructors in such trainings is empowering the educational foundation of our Commands. Whatever is learned by those who will partake in the trainings will be localized in each branch of service,” he said.
Moreover, these trainings are the perfect venue for the Armed Forces of the Philippines to share and adopt the best practices that they see in each branch of service.
“We are elevating PAF by activating our own ETC through cross-trainings, and we are encouraging you to do the same, as well,” he added. –PIA 3
