AirAsia Philippines to honor top sales partners in the 7th Redstar Awards

AirAsia Philippines strongly recognizes the pivotal role of its Travel Agency Partners, also known as the “Redstars” in helping rebuild and sustain the travel and tourism industry especially at the height of the pandemic where air travel had been limited.

On 15 May, AirAsia Philippines Sales and Distribution team will be celebrating its Travel Agency Partners’ success in the 7th Redstar Awards.    

“Keeping the travel and tourism industry alive for the past three years is a collaborative effort by airline companies and travel agencies. We deeply acknowledge their great contribution in cascading our programs and helping rebuild travel confidence”, AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla shares.

Redstar Awards gives special recognition to Travel Agency Partners who in 2023 greatly contributed to our flight sales revenues  on top of ancillary products such as meals, extra baggage, choiced seats, and programs such as the Fast Pass.     

Bookings as of May 2024 have already reached 45% of the total 6.6 million seats sold in 2023. AirAsia attributes the increase in the figures to the contributions made by Travel Agency Partners on top of AirAsia’s online booking platform AirAsia MOVE and the official website airasia.com.
