CLARK FREEPORT – Sixteen student pilots from United Arab Emirates-based Alpha Aviation Academy, especially those bound for Air Arabia, shall undergo the basic flight training at the Alpha Aviation Group as a prerequisite for multi-crew pilot license program, key official of the AAG said in a statement.
Ruel Rombaoa, AAG head of marketing and sales, said AAG and AAA based in Sharjiah (UAE) signed a partnership agreement designed to deliver the core flying phase for student pilots.
Representing AAG (PH) and AAA (UAE) are Cristopher Magdangal (AAG Regional Director, Asia-Pacific) and Capt. Nadhem Al Hamad (AAA Accountable Manager).
“The 16 student pilots from AAA are already housed at AAG for familiarization before the basic flight training commence,” said Rombaoa, adding that 10 more student pilots from UAE are expected to join the program next month,” said Rombaoa over the phone.
This training partnership between the sister aviation academies, Rombaoa said, is in response to the increasing demand in the aviation industry for world-class airline pilot training solutions. “It comes after intense work of audits and GCAA-UAE audit and approval.”
“AAG is committed to delivering the highest standards of safety, quality and training standards for this core flying program as required by AAA,” said Rombaoa.
