An American national has died from a heart attack in front of a convenience store in Angeles City on Thursday.
Angeles City police Director Col. Amado Mendoza identified the fatality as Mark Czerr, 58, a resident of Ocana Carcar, Cebu.
Initial reports said the foreigner arrived on a motorbike at 7- Eleven convenience store on A. Santos St., Brgy. Balibago Angeles City.
He went inside and purchased a bottle of softdrinks and a pack of cigarettes.
He then boarded the motorbike when suddenly he fell to the ground, prompting the convenience store personnel to call for police assistance and rushed the foreigner to the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Hospital (ONA).
He was declared dead upon arrival due to cardiac pulmonary arrest secondary to cardiac arrest and acute coronary syndrome.
