Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. distributed livelihood assistance to 26 members of the Aeta community on October 30, 2024, at the Mayor’s Office. Each beneficiary received P15,000 as part of a joint initiative with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Mayor Lazatin acknowledged the contributions of indigenous communities to local development. Joining him at the distribution were Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and City Social Welfare and Development Officer Edna Duaso. Representing the DSWD were SWO III Kate Kathleen Santos-David and City-link Faustino Dungca II.
