Subic Bay Freeport — Atty. Anne Adorable-Inton of Hermosa, Bataan began her term as SBMA Director by meeting with officials to continue the implementation of the Subic-Mabiga Access Road Project, which was approved by the SBMA Board in 2021.
Atty. Inton’s husband, Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton said this infrastructure project will provide a linkage from SBFZ to the Mabiga exit of SCTEX in Bataan. It will also connect to the Luzon Spine Expressway Network to facilitate inter-regional accessibility. The Hermosa side of this project from Mabiga to Palihan is currently being constructed.
Director Anne was accompanied by DPWH Region III Engr. Jun Mendiola and Engr. Paolo Masbang, SBMA Planning and Development Chief (PDO) Vicente Evidente, Deputy Administrator for Public Works Engr. Marco Estabillo, staff from SBMA PDO, Engineering, and LADD, MPDO Engr. Ejay Salenga, Hermosa Municipal Administrator Rex Jorge and staff from LGU-Hermosa, and SBMA Director Kenneth Rementilla.
The said meeting’s aim is to have a more effective and stronger collaboration of the whole community, including Subic Bay Freeport and the surrounding municipalities, to sustain the progress.
