ANGELES CITY – Whether you’re a local food enthusiast or a curious traveler seeking authentic Kapampangan cuisine, embark on a gastronomic adventure into the rustic charm of Apag Marangle Restaurant through its diverse Kapampangan flavors.
Nestled in the heart of Guagua, Pampanga, Apag Marangle (Farm Dining) stands as a testament to the rich culinary heritage of the Kapampangan people.
Chef Manuela Cherry Pasion Tan together with business partner Mark Navarro founded Apag Marangle in 2008. It has since become a labor of love with its dedicated team tirelessly working to preserve and celebrate the traditional flavors of Kapampangan cooking.
For 16 years, Apag Marangle has been a beacon of flavor, warmth, and community spirit, inviting diners to experience the essence of Kapampangan food. Every dish tells a story of passion, flavor, and heritage. From hearty stews to delicate desserts, every dish is crafted with passion and authenticity, reflecting the vibrant culture and history of the region.
“Most of my customers are balikbayans and local tourists so I would like to promote, reach out and reintroduce the local cuisine to fellow Kapampangans especially to the younger generation and to our cabalens who don’t cook at home anymore,” Chef Cherry said.
Their success lies in its unwavering commitment to quality and tradition. Drawing inspiration from age-old recipes passed down through generations, every bite is a journey through time. It pays homage to the culinary legacy of Kapampangan ancestors.
Over the years, it has become a gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. It fosters connections and creates cherished memories around the dining table. Be it a simple family celebration or a get-together with friends, Apag Marangle welcomes any occasion with warm hospitality.
In its 16th anniversary, Apag Marangle was filled with gratitude for the support of its patrons and the Guagua community. They look forward to continuing their culinary journey, sharing the flavors of Kapampangan cuisine for generations to come.
