Mabalacat City Vice Mayor Gerald “Geld” P. Aquino officially declared his candidacy for mayor by filing his Certificate of Candidacy (CoC) on Saturday, October 5, under the Kambilan political party. He was joined by his running mate, incumbent Councilor Jun Castro, who filed for vice mayor.
The entire Team Geld-Jun council slate, including Patricia Acorda, Dr. Stephen Aurelio, Benny Jocson, Ike Morales, Vicoy Ong, Liza Pineda, Eroll “Pogi” Soliven, Engr. Graham Tapion, and Marvin Tolentino, was also present.
Businessman Rodolfo “Tatay Bong” Pineda attended to show his unwavering support for the Aquino-Castro duo. Around 10,000 supporters join the filing of COC.
