Aquino vows top-caliber education for MCC graduates

MABALACAT CITY, Philippines – Mayor Atty. Gerald “Geld” Aquino on Tuesday vowed to sustain the city’s commitment to top-caliber education, as Mabalacat City College (MCC) held its 14th commencement exercises at Royce Hotel inside the Clark Freeport Zone.

A total of 729 graduates marched from the Institute of Arts and Sciences, Institute of Teacher Education, Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Institute of Business and Computing Education.

Mayor Aquino congratulated the graduates, urging them to use their education not only to uplift their families but also to contribute to community development. “Your success is the city’s success,” he told the graduates.

MCC President Dr. Sonny De Guzman led the ceremony, extending gratitude to parents, faculty members, and city officials for their continued support of the institution. He reaffirmed MCC’s pledge to provide quality and accessible education for Mabalacat youth.

Among those present were Pampanga Board Members Patricia Acorda, Cherry Manalo, Christian Halili, and City Councilor Noel Castro, who all expressed support for MCC’s programs and its role in shaping future leaders of the city.
