BALER, Aurora – Reynante Tolentino has won a first full term as Governor of Aurora after he was proclaimed by the Provincial Board of Canvassers Tuesday afternoon.

He secured 67,827 votes, defeating his rival, former Governor Christian Noveras.

In a statement, Tolentino has reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering inclusive, community-driven programs anchored on “Serbisyong Bukas-Palad.”

“We will continue a brand of leadership and program, especially those living in remote parts of Aurora — our Indigenous Peoples in particular — we will give priority to livelihood programs and inclusive support,” he pressed.

In 2022, then Vice Governor Tolentino assumed as Governor following the disqualification of then Governor Noveras.

Meanwhile, Sid Galban won the Vice Gubernatorial Race with 57,960 votes.

He underscored the importance of responsive legislative leadership anchored on public participation.

“For the development of the entire province, we will move with a heartfelt focus on the voice of the people, especially in the legislative process,” Galban stated.

The newly elected officials have committed to fostering partnerships with national agencies, the private sector, and local communities to achieve sustainable growth for the province.

With a focus on social equity, inclusive governance, and community-based development, the Tolentino-Galban leadership aims to bring about lasting change in Aurora. (CLJD/MAT, PIA Region 3-Aurora)
