BACOLOR, Pampanga – Residents and students living in Purok 1, Barangay San Vicente are urging local officials to act on the long-neglected barangay road that has worsened over the years, especially during the rainy season.
“Hirap po kami maglakad dahil sa lubak-lubak na daan at baha,” said Abby, a college student from Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVTSU).
Locals said the poor condition of the road affects their daily commute to school and work, and poses a safety risk, particularly for children and the elderly.
They are calling for immediate action from the municipal and barangay governments to repair and improve the road before the situation worsens further.
