Bataan drug den yields P68K shabu, 5 arrested

ABUCAY, Bataan – Joint elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the police on Friday morning have arrested five drug suspects who yielded 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000.

In a report from PDEA 3, the sting operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, PPDEU Bataan PPO and Abucay MPS led by Police Major Leopoldo Estorque in Barangay Wawa, Abucay, Bataan.

PDEA3 Regional Director Christian O Frivaldo identified the suspects as Rollie Dizon y Bunagua, 29 years old, married, brgy. Wawa, Abucay, Bataan; John Paul Dizon y Valencia, 19, single brgy. Wawa, Abucay, Bataan; Ronnie Dizon y Soriano, 52 years old, single, brgy.Wawa, Abucay, Bataan; Rommel Tiongson y Samson, 41, married, brgy.  Wawa, Abucay, Bataan; and Alfredo Visda 23, single, brgy. Wawa, Abucay, Bataan.

The entrapment operation yielded two pieces of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet and two pieces medium heat sealed transparent plastic containing shabu weighing more or less 10 grams and estimated at P68,000.00; assorted paraphernalia and three pieces of 100 peso bills.

Charges for violation of R.A. 9165 of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
