Ten fishermen from Bataan surrendered ₱1.5 billion worth of suspected shabu after finding it floating off Masinloc, Zambales on May 29. The 222.655 kilograms of illegal drugs were turned over to authorities in Mariveles on June 2. The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has launched a full investigation into the origin of the narcotics, which were wrapped in tea bags and sealed in plastic.
