BALANGA CITY — Governor Albert Garcia shared the province’s best practices in the fight against COVID-19 as Bataan virtually celebrates its 264th founding anniversary.
These include the Kusina sa Barangay, distribution of 25 kilograms of rice to every household, establishment of the 1Bataan-Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) RT-PCR Laboratory in Balanga City, establishment of a Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory at Mariveles District Hospital (MDH), and designation of both the BGHMC and MDH as facilities that would exclusively treat COVID-19 patients.
Also, the construction of the 300 bed capacity 1Bataan Mega Quarantine and Isolation Facility located in Orani town, and launch of the 1Bataan Seal of COVID-free Barangay.
He added that these projects are the result of everyone’s effort in the fight against the unseen enemy.
“Like in the war, ang laban ng isa ay laban ng lahat,” the official stressed.
