THE Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) have signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to enhance the ease of doing business and attract high-value industries to New Clark City.
Under the MOA, both agencies will collaborate on the establishment, development, and regulation of economic zones within the area, and jointly roll out policy consultations, training programs, technical workshops, and capacity-building initiatives.
As investment promotion agencies, BCDA and PEZA will also coordinate on formulating strategic roadmaps, conducting marketing campaigns, and engaging in joint investment promotion activities to draw in regional business enterprises (RBEs) and global investors.
The partnership seeks to position New Clark City as a premier business hub for innovation-driven and sustainable industries.
